Should you not be able to bring your instrument to our workshop in Mt Sheridan we can arrange for pickup and delivery service within Cairns (from Gordonvale to Palm Cove) and the Tablelands. Call Owen on 0419 782 202 to arrane for the courier service (Fastways) to collect your instrument.

We aim to provide high quality repairs and service to musicians and instrumental learners. The National Association Of Professional Band Instrument Repair Techmicians (Napbirt) whom we are a member of is also a great source of information in particular for parents.

We wish to contribute to the musical culture of Cairns, North Queensland by maintaining the value, quality and playability of the musical instruments that come to us. Our aim is to avoid budding musicians becoming disheartened by difficult to play instruments and it is our intention to provide economical repairs and service of instruments thus helping to relieve the financial burden on schools and parents of learners. We aspire to encourage musicians, be they proficient or learners and promote the love and proper care of musical instruments that bring to the community joy, passion and happiness through music.

Our Musical Background

Owen has been involved in brass banding in Cairns, Far North Queensland, playing brass instruments both trombone and valve for over 50 years. He has also played woodwind for many years.

Jacky has been a supporter of Owen - a parent supporter of two outstanding musical children and supporter of brass band organisations and young people's musical groups.

We have been carrying out high quality repairs for our customers since 1997.

 

While offering the best of service to our local customers, we make every endeavour to care for isolated Musicians across the width of North Queensland as well as Papua New Guinea.

There is nowhere in this small world with our transport system that if cost is not prohibitive we are not able to help you with your repair.
